Imogen started off her career in the modelling industry, but always had a love for fashion design growing up. Imogen came from a rockabilly style background. Music being a massive influence on her life & fashion, she grew up listening to the likes AC/DC, The Doors, Motley Crue & Guns 'n' Roses . Her father was a classic car restorer & spray painter. In that sense she grew up as a bit of a tomboy, helping her father out in his shop but never losing her intense love for fashion. Imogen pursued her modelling, later getting into the more fashion & commercial side of things. She ended up taking control of the shoots she was involved in due to her eccentric creative direction. Working with some of biggest people in the industry, Imogen is renown for her eccentric, sexy look, but also for her extremely down to earth personality & wicked sense of humour. Imogen closed the 2014 Bondi Bather show at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, walking the runway wearing nothing but sand infamously known as the "Sandkini". Bondi Bather then brought Imogen on board the following year at Fashion Week to come on as creative director for their 'Bondi Bather X Hello Kitty' 2015 swimsuit collaboration, where she closed the show again in a high cut Swarovski embellished swimsuit and thigh high boots.
Imogen is known well on social media for her intellectually strong and honest "i don't give a f***" attitude. She has 'followers' from all over the world admiring her for her daring & crazy fashion choices on the red carpet, whilst remaining polished at the same time. Imogen is now a well known Australian Style Icon, red carpet regular and was recently pulled up by the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier at the 2014 Elle Style Awards on what she was wearing. It had just happened to be one of her own unreleased pieces from her WTR by ImogenAnthony line. Jean took her hand and proceeded to lead her to the media wall, where he insisted they were photographed together.
